Questions people ask first
Does a card cost the same as a certificate?
Yes. One credit issues one credential, card or certificate. A renewal is a new version on the same card and uses one credit.
Can members add their photo?
Yes, from their phone, on the card's page, and from Standard it shows on their wallet pass too. To print a photo on the card itself, add a photo field to the design in the editor and supply each member's photo with their details.
What does the person at the door see?
They scan the QR code and get the card's page: status first, then the name, the member ID and the term. No app to install.
What happens to the cards if we stop paying?
Pages on cert.fyi or a custom subdomain stay live and verifiable, and their links keep working. Your own domain is the exception: it costs money to keep, so when the plan ends, cards on it go offline. They are not deleted, and they open again if you resubscribe and connect the same domain.
